Friday, November 10thso i added a little feature to the christmas page. it has a countdown! it's a countdown to when jeff and i will get to utah, but it's in the ballpark for everybody.
also, we have added a new member to our family! i know you guys would probably like to hear that it is a human baby, but it's a cat baby. he was born on april 10, 2006, under our friend mandy's deck and was the last of his litter to be captured. mandy kept him for a couple days during which he spent some time at the vet getting his shots and having his private parts cut off and the rest in mandy's bathroom where her three kitties couldn't kill him. mandy couldn't keep him because she is at her cat capacity, so jeff campaigned to get this kitty a new home. nobody had room for the little guy, so he came home with us.
he is a lover and a hider. he will let us pet him indefinitely while he purrs and purrs, but we had to crawl under the bed with him to do it (i have a mild rug burn on my chin to show for it). we just moved him into another bedroom after making it hide-proof, and he is adjusting quickly... i only hope that introducing him to claire and yoshi will go so well, but i really, really doubt it.
after much deliberation, we decided on a name for him. say hello to dexter percival chan!
