Saturday, September 2ndfinally. it'd been so dry around here for months, but the other morning i woke up to raindrops and thunder, and it made me so happy. the lawn is happy, too. i hope the weatherman is right about more coming this weekend.
my self is slowly returning to normal. kidneys are not complaining and poison ivy has stopped itching and has turned to dark leathery patches which are beginning to fade. i made it through with really only one nervous breakdown... that's pretty good, right?
in case you haven't heard, we will be at mom and dad's for christmas from the 19th to the 26th, and i can't wait. only 108 days to go!
i am so excited that i made a page about it. it's a list of things i want to do while we're there, and i made it so that family can add things, too. it's password protected so only family can add things to the list. the password, all lower case, is the name of the city to which tim was called plus the number of people in our family from dad down to nora (so it's also kinda like a quiz!). i wanted to make just submission of the form protected, but that would require a lot more scripting which i would probably never finish before christmas got here, so the whole page is protected (sorry to anybody reading this that wants to see it and doesn't know the answer to the password hint... if you know us, you can email one of us, and we'll tell you what it is). go add something now!
